Bevin was the 2002 Junior National Champion in the 3000m steeplechase. She was also 2nd in the 1500 steeple at the BC High Schools in 2002. After graduating for Correlieau Secondary school in Quesnel Bevin moved on the University of Idaho on an athletic scholarship. In her first year for the Vandals she was a member of the Big West Conference Champions in both cross country and outdoor track. She is a valuable member of the Vandal cross country team that willl look to defend their title this fall.
